The key request in the letter is this:

You and President Adams have the authority to require MIDA pause this process pending independent review. We are asking you to use it.

There is no obligation to approve this project without independent review. No statute requires Utah to approve a 9-gigawatt data center in three weeks with no water study and no public comment. What Utah does have an obligation to do, in your own words, is save the Great Salt Lake. Require the independent water analysis. Require the genuine public process. That is what an obligation to the Great Salt Lake actually looks like.

Military LAND in the Stratos project area appear to be a ruse:

• CRITICALLY: There is zero military land in the footprint of the project that was revealed originally to the public (map created on April 27, 2026).  

A later updated map MAY include a tiny smidge of land about 45 miles to the south.

Stratos Project was reported to be entirely north of the Great Salt Lake.....

Until the press and or public dug into the false-claim of military land being in the project area. 

At that point, it appears, the smidge of Utah Trust land and maybe military land (????) ~45 miles away was hastily added.  

Kevin O'Leary exposes that Utah Leader came to him with this outrageous plan about 5 months ago.  That was roughly in November of 2025. 

Negative impacts of the Stratos Project on Utah and our region are so enormous that no infographic can capture them all.  Here is one attempt:

The single (not really public) meeting about MIDA was on April 24th, 2026.  A recording of the meeting reveals almost no technical insights, zero environmental discussions and PLENTY OF SELF-CONGRATULATORY DISCUSSION ABOUT HOOD-WINKING THE UTAH PUBLIC.
