Action item - Remove your Signature

BURRN.org provides links for checking and removing your name if
1) you were tricked into signing the petition to give republican lawmakers the right to pick their voters,
2) your name was added by someone else
3) other fraud occurred.

Hello all.  A small, tough, and resourceful group started on Jan. 3- Brave Utahns Rapid Response Network (BURRN), is fighting the effort to undo the Fair Districting process in Utah.

The signature gatherers you've seen around town or at your door are trying to get enough signatures to re-vote on what we voted FOR in 2018 - a nonpartisan districting commission that would create fairer congressional districts.

The history is long, and complicated - check the Better Boundaries website for insights.

A strong group of folks in Cache Valley have volunteered their time to stand next to the gatherers in various public spaces to educate people on what they are signing.

We are in the last 3 days of signature gathering (praise be), and BURRN is working to reduce the number of signatures - these are the folks with the Decline to Sign signs.

BURRN encourages you to search the publicly available list of signers for your name just in case. Recent news coverage plus BURRN' s own contact with Utahns has flagged that a startling amount of people are fraudulently showing up as having signed it, when they never actually did. We also have seen, heard, and recorded 100's of misleading statements, incorrect actions, and threats from signature gatherers statewide. We encourage you to search for the names of family and friends. If you see them listed, reach out and ask them if they even signed a petition, or if they did, really understood what it was. We have 45 days from the date the signature is recorded by the county clerk's office to remove your name from the petition.
