 Why should we all vote early?

Vote Early, No Kings crowd early in the event

I am Susanne Janecke, a local advocate for democracy.

PLEASE vote early, 

Let’s use USE ballot boxes-to be safer

That lets us track your ballot 

and CORRECT ISSUES if they arise.

Let’s VOTE in every race.   

• It really matters.  

• SCHOOL BOARD HELPS OUR KIDS AND TEACHERS. 

• CACHE WATER BOARD doubled our TAXES US AND is on track to impose a half billion dollars of taxes on us for damaging projects-without our input.

• Vote carefully!

JUDGES HAVE PROTECTED voters from the over-reach of Utah legislature’s

several times.

• Please vote TO RETAIN all well-rated JUDGES ON YOUR BALLOT 

• Unqualified judges usually drop out 

• –rather than face us voters in a retention vote.

• When a candidate answers questions in this voter guide- 

• it indicates that they CARE ABOUT us voters.  

• Many candidates did not bother to respond to the league of women voters.  

PLEASE vote on AMENDMENTS A AND B.   

Non-partisan, pro-voter groups report that BOTH A and B are 

ANTI-DEMOCRATIC AND ANTI-VOTER.

• Amendments A proposes to HIDE vital info from us voters on obscure government web sites. 

• Amendment B keeps simple-majority-rule for the legislature,

• But demands 60% approval if voters initiate a law. 

Our votes are a precious AND powerful thing. 

Why else is so much money and effort being spent on suppressing and subverting OUR VOTE?

A fellow lover of voting and democracy

Utah has a democracy warrior- Lt Governor Deirde Henderson. 

• She is protecting our vote from the federal government.  

• LET’S GIVE HER A HAND!!!!!!!!!!!! 

We can help her by being a poll watcher, 

or signing up for a election protection team.  

Our sign up sheet is at the INDIVISIBLE table over there.

We may call on MEMBERS OF THE  election-protection-team TO COME OUT FOR emergency protests–

  if there are problems locally or nationally.

Why is early voting so important? 

Voting early: 

1. protects our rights, 

2. sends powerful message about democracy and 

3. encourages others to vote too.

Voting early projects VOTER power .

WE THE PEOPLE RULE!

Voting early helps campaign staff get out the vote.

Voting early prevents an emergency from interfering in the voting process

VOTING EARLY protects our vote from foreign and domestic interference, 

Voting early makes it easier for everyone to vote regardless of 

 Our ability, Race, Gender OR GENDER IDENTITY, Class 

faith, Being cis or queer, or political views. 

There is a split in this country between those people and parties:

•  who want everyone to be able to vote- easily and early 

–and without restrictions as long as they are eligible 

• and those that work overtime to suppress the vote of their opponents.

WE ARE HERE TODAY ENCOURAGING EVERYONE TO VOTE carefully and EARLY

Together we can make this election “too big to rig” 

Invite friends and neighbors and help them understand their ballot.
