Election Alert! New opening of a Cache County Seat, Nov. 2026 election

 Barbara Tidwell, the Cache County Council member from the Logan -2 district is resigning.   The Logan 2 district encompasses west and northwest Logan.  This means that a Republican will be appointed to fill this seat though 2026.  There WILL BE an open election for this seat seat on Nov. 3., 2026. So like the other races, the filing window starts Jan. 2, 2026, and ends at 5 p.m., Jan. 8, 2026 for the major parties.  *The  filing window is longer for people filing from other parties.  If you live in this district or know someone who lives in the district and you think would be a good representative, please encourage them to consider to run.
