In the past month several stories have surfaced regarding the possibility of a large ICE detention facility to be 'built' in Utah - something our Governor said "we" would welcome. Who is this "we", Governor Cox? ICE facilities are notorious for the poor construction, unhealthy facilities, and huge burdens on state and local governments. We ask our Utah-based friends to write Governor Cox, and our local legislators, that we do NOT welcome such a facility. Let's get ahead of the story and let our leaders know that big ICE is bad for Utah and Utahns. We provide prompts for the different themes that might be useful in framing our arguments.
